Through this lesson, students study about waste management by field visits and conducting surveys. They become active participants in the learning process by exploring, discovering and presenting concepts by themselves. Students willbe introduced to the process of waste management and its uses through a creative Seminar and field trip. Following this, they are guided to create a multimedia presentation expressing the process of waste management through Vermiculture. They find some innovative ideas to produce Vermi worms in a large scale. They will also distribute brochure to the public to insist the importance of Vermiculture and is processing methods. They will give an application to the C.E.O. to send a circular to all the schools in their district.
